The Management and Strategy Department consists of applied microeconomists who actively conduct research to enhance our understanding of the performance of firms, markets, organizations, and economies. The department’s primary teaching responsibilities are MBA courses that apply microeconomic principles to business strategy, market competition, firm organization and structure. Specifically, we are seeking individuals to teach our “core” MBA strategy class, which provides a broad introduction to organizational decision-making using a microeconomics foundation. Criteria for selection among candidates include: experience and teaching ability, particularly at the MBA level. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics, business, or a related discipline.
