One or
more visiting appointments may be available for the 2008-2009
academic year in the Department of Management and Strategy,
Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. The
Management and Strategy Department consists of applied microeconomists
who actively conduct research to enhance our understanding
of the performance of firms, markets, organizations, and economies.
The department’s primary teaching responsibilities are
MBA courses that apply microeconomic principles to business
strategy, market competition, firm organization and structure.
Specifically, we are seeking individuals to teach our “core”
MBA strategy class, which provides a broad introduction to
organizational decision-making using a microeconomics foundation.
Criteria for selection among candidates include: experience
and teaching ability, particularly at the MBA level. Candidates
should have a Ph.D. in economics, business, or a related discipline.
