Bruce Spohler earned his BS from Syracuse University. Enamored with Kellogg’s cooperative and team-driven approach to business, the school was the only MBA program to which he applied. He has practiced what he learned throughout his career, hiring smart people with skills and expertise different from his own, and fostering and environment of empowerment and growth. Bruce cofounded Solar Capital Partners in 2006. He was previously employed as a Managing Director by CIBC World Markets, a Managing Director & Founding Member by Argosy Group LP, and Head-Mergers & Acquisitions by Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. He also served on the board at Solar Capital LLC and Group 1 Software, Inc. The father of four, two of his children currently are enrolled at Northwestern University’s School of Communications.
