Eduardo Mendoza is a Managing Director with BMO Capital Markets U.S. Securitization group, where he has originated and/or structured/placed multiple cross-border asset-backed programs. He has experience across a large range of assets types, including consumer finance, CMBS, equipment loans and future flow assets. In conjunction with spearheading the firm’s Latin American investment banking and securitization activities, Eduardo participates as a key member in the origination and execution of ABS conduit and placement agency transactions in the US market. Prior to joining the Securization Group, Eduardo spent five years with the BMO Capital Markets Real Estate team, where he was responsible for investment banking coverage of several US public REITs and real estate opportunity funds. From 1997 to 2000 Eduardo was responsible for structuring domestic and cross-border debt transactions with BMO Capital Markets syndication and private placement groups. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets in 1997, he spent seven years, based in Mexico City, with two large Mexican banks structuring project finance transaction and covering corporate clients.
Mr. Mendoza is a CPA with a BS in Accounting from I.T.A.M., Mexico and Msc in Corporate Finance from Salford University, U.K
