As a Manager with Mission Measurement, Cheryl Davenport acts as a catalyst between the corporate and the social sectors. Her work helps companies devise strategies that produce meaningful social impact as commercial benefit. At the same time, she works with nonprofits and government agencies to more effectively engage corporations in their work . Some of Cheryl’s recent clients include Wal-Mart, Pepsi Refresh Project, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Global Broadband and Innovations Alliance, and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Prior to joining Mission Measurement, Cheryl worked at Monitor Group, a global strategy consulting firm. There, she focused on marketing strategy and advised a variety of domestic and international clients. Cheryl is a member of the Marketing Institute Advisory Council at the University of Iowa, and serves on the Metropolitan Board and the Development and Communications Committee for Chicago Youth Centers.
She holds a B.B.A. with honors and highest distinction in Economics from the University of Iowa, where she minored in Spanish and German. Cheryl has lived and worked in Germany, Mexico, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
