Welcome to Kellogg!

CIM experience orients new students to school's unique culture

For nearly 40 years, Kellogg students have begun their MBA education with a program that introduced them to the school's academic life: CIM Week. The orientation, which occurs before classes begin, is a chance for faculty, staff and second-year students to welcome the incoming class.

Originally known as "Conceptual Issues in Management," CIM now stands for "Complete Immersion in Management." CIM's goal is to create a foundation for academic success by immediately emphasizing the leadership and team-building skills that distinguish Kellogg graduates. Through rigorous coursework and collaboration, CIM offers new students an intense introduction to Kellogg. Speakers, diversity workshops, social events and a community service project are also part of the multifaceted CIM experience.
