This summer, Kellogg alums in San Diego took the challenge of finding the best burger on the beach. In an unscientific survey, it was a tie between taste and atmosphere. Hodads in Ocean Beach was voted the winner for freshness, burger accessories and menu diversity. Rocky's in Pacific Beach won for the warm environment, music selection and simplicity. The August "Taste of San Diego" event was a sunset dinner on the veranda of Brockton Villa, above the cliffs of La Jolla cove. Future "Taste of San Diego" events will be posted on the San Diego alumni club Web site.
