Jain joins elite summit

Dean Dipak C. Jain was among a select group of experts in New York for a Sept. 24 U.S.-India Education Roundtable. Participants — including Allan Hubbard, director of the National Economic Council, Karen Hughes, then-undersecretary for public diplomacy, and Rajat Gupta, chairman of McKinsey & Co. — explored the potential for new collaborations between U.S and Indian universities. Such initiatives are believed to hold value for both countries' economies. The roundtable offered a chance to review the effectiveness of existing efforts while outlining potential future ones. During the summit, Dean Jain shared the Kellogg School's success in establishing joint-degree MBA programs and other alliances with top academic institutions worldwide.
