South Florida is pumped up for another exciting year of events and get-togethers, hopefully uninterrupted by "weather events," as I believe we are all tired of those. Our recent wine-tasting event, co-hosted by the new EMBA-Miami program, was a tremendous success! More than 30 area alums and potential applicants jammed into Wolf's Wine Shop in Coral Gables and made merry while pretending to learn something about wine. For 2005-2006, we have lots of fun events coming up including a Design District art walk, the Family Enterprise Conference, as well as some obligatory casual let's-have-a-beer events. We are looking for new board members, so please contact one of us if you're interested!
