  Wellman Hoff ’71, left, recently completed a term as president of the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights, Ill. He passed the president’s gavel to incoming president Scott Whisler in June.

Marty Glick is executive vice president and CFO of biotechnology company Theravance Inc. Theravance has raised more than $450 million in private capital to develop a pipeline of potential new medicines in several major therapeutic areas. In addition, Marty is the co-founder and a board member of Eyetech Pharmaceuticals, a healthcare company working to develop new drugs to treat the leading causes of blindness, including age-related macular degeneration.

Wellman Hoff recently completed a successful year as president of the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights, Ill. Wellman, now officially serving as immediate past president of the club, has been a member for 21 years.
