Louie, the Baysox mascot, with DC alums.
Louie, the Baysox mascot, popped into the Washington, D.C. club's party at Bowie Baysox Stadium in May. The game drew alumni and fans of all ages.

In May, more than 40 D.C.-area alumni and their families gathered for an afternoon of baseball and networking in the Owner’s Suite at Bowie Baysox Stadium. Thanks to Kim McCaslin ’98 for all her efforts in coordinating this event!

For two days in May, Carter Griffin ’95, CEO of Brivo Systems presented at the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association’s Capital Connection 2002 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. The conference showcased over 50 companies, prescreened by VCs and coached by a formal mentoring process. In June, the NU Alumni Club hosted an evening of food, art and discussion at the Uruguayan embassy and invited all interested Kellogg Alumni Club members. The evening began with a sampling of Uruguayan wines and cheese followed by a multimedia discussion about Uruguayan culture, business interests, and other topics. After the talk, traditional Uruguayan dishes including empanadas, milanesas and masitas were served. The event took place in the Embassy’s art gallery featuring works by Uruguayan painters.

Third Thursday happy hours continue throughout the summer. Look for updates on the Kellogg Web site.
