Andy Tometich was recently named president of Dow Corning. His appointment came as Dow Corning, the world-leading silicones pioneer, became 100 percent owned by the Dow Chemical Company after seven plus decades as a joint venture with Corning Inc. In this new role, he leads one of the largest operating units of the Dow Chemical Company, the second largest chemical enterprise in the world and a Fortune 50 company.
