After spending over 40 years in the banking, consulting and real estate industries, Lou Boxleitner has retired to the far western suburbs of Houston, Texas. He is quite busy working with two charities. He serves as board chair for Cinco Charities, which has provided over 18,000 nights of free lodging for cancer patients. He also serves as treasurer for Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue, which rescues approximately 200 abused, neglected or abandoned golden retrievers each year.

Richard Rivkin will become district governor on July 1, 2016, of Rotary International District 6440 encompassing northeastern Illinois, excluding Chicago. Rotary International is the world’s first service organization, founded in Chicago in 1905. District 6440 includes 70 individual Rotary Clubs with over 2,300 members. He continues as president and CEO of Saf-T-Gard International, an 80-year-old family business and global supplier of industrial safety products and personal protective equipment.
