In October, the Kellogg Alumni Club of Chicago (KACC) celebrated graduates of the class of 2015 with a cocktail reception at PUBLIC Chicago. The evening commemorated the hard work and accomplishments experienced throughout two years at Kellogg, and brought alumni together with recent graduates from the Full-Time, Evening & Weekend, MMM, JD-MBA, and Executive MBA programs.

More than 90 alumni gathered at the Morningstar Headquarters in November to learn about meditation and stress management. Alumni learned about different types of meditation with Elizabeth Pattara ’10, founder of Samadhi.

In 2015, KACC hosted quarterly networking breakfasts on the North Shore at Blue Grass Restaurant in Highland Park. These popular breakfasts of 15-20 people allow alumni to connect in a more intimate setting. Participants have included alumni from all walks of life, including small business owners, financial professionals, sales consultants, company presidents and senior executives at large Fortune 1000 companies.

In February more than 50 alumni gathered for our annual “Super Bowl Ad Review” with professor Tim Calkins. The group voted on the ads, discussed what worked, and the highs and lows of Super Bowl advertising. Professor Calkins shared his insights and observations on which brands did well and why.
