Robyn Albertini joined the executive search firm of Bloom, Gross & Associates, a boutique firm specializing in marketing, marketing research, advertising and public relations in the Chicago area and nationwide. Two other Kellogg grads work with this firm. Robyn's email address is ralbertini@bloomgross.com. She'd love to hear from any Kellogg alums who are in the market!

After working at Sears for 10 years Tom Holmes has transitioned to the finance field. He moved to New York to work for Bear Stearns in sales and trading, but has now returned to Chicago as a vice president in equity research sales.

Kurt Spackman went to Iraq with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 161 for seven months. He returned in September and moved to Marine Aircraft Group 16, where he is the assistant operations officer. No moves or new kids, but he reports that he'll probably go back to Iraq within the next year or so.

In October Darren Olson received the Young Civil Engineer of the Year Award from the Illinois section of the American Society of Civil Engineers. It is an annual award given to the most outstanding civil engineer under the age of 35. He recently moved with wife Amy to Roscoe Village on the North Side of Chicago.

William Trautmann accepted a job with AMETEK Specialty Motors in a leadership development program. He is the product manager for the specialty motor division, a $40-million dollar division, and is being trained for the business unit manager position. He is working out of Kent, and living in Hudson, Ohio, about a half hour south of Cleveland. His division sells PMDC and universal motors in the fitness equipment, home shop, lawn and garden, therapeutic spa and commercial appliance market segments. The heart of the strategy is to sell more into markets that do not sell to discount warehouse retailers. Simple strategy, but not very easy to find those markets these days, William says. He is married and has two kids.

Alex Kent's company, Symphonic Wireless, continues to land large corporate contracts for wireless application solutions like EVDO Wireless Broadband and Good Technology software. Symphonic pays significant referral bonuses for corporate leads.

Chris Pesek TMP '03 and family

Enjoying the holidays with full armloads, from left, are Pesek family members Marty, 3; Chris Pesek TMP '03; Alex, 4; wife Sheilah; and Teddy, almost 2.

Chris Pesek sends along this update: "The Pesek family is alive and well and living in Lake Forest. After entering The Managers' Program with one child, I emerged (with my wife, of course) with three little ones. We brought our two youngest into the world during final exams during my first and third year. I am still happy at Jones Lang LaSalle on the Motorola account in Chicago and we are beginning to manage more of the company's global real estate portfolio. If anyone would like to say hello, they can reach me at chris.pesek@am.jll.com."

Bo Sandine has accepted an offer to become director of business development for The Experiential Agency (XA). XA is a comprehensive event marketing, design and production firm with full-service offices in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.

Sean Treccia has moved from the marketing manager role at KPMG to become the manager of university recruiting for the firm.

Aiden Saman Lam was born Jan. 1 to Ray Lam TMP '02 and Rezina Alam. Both parents are enjoying the little one.

Thanks for all of the updates. As you go through these or other life experiences, keep your classmates up to date by forwarding me your news of babies, weddings, jobs, hobbies or anything else noteworthy. You can reach me at rpollock2003@kellogg.northwestern.edu for updates in the months to come.
