EMP-36

EMP is growing in all sorts of ways. We would like to congratulate our classmates who recently added to their families or received promotions.

Darra and Rick Day welcomed twin girls July 2. Jada Grace and Aliyah Gabriella are both doing well and keeping Rick and Darra on their toes!

Margaret and Logan Otto became proud parents Sept. 4 to a baby girl, Lindsay Morgan. Little Miss Lindsay took in a Husker football game a few days after she was born and is getting used to riding in the tractor and learning to be a good little farm helper!

Brenda Gieszler has had a busy few years. She married Dwayne on Nov. 22, 2003, and was recently promoted to director of global furniture and floor RD&E at SCJ. She joined SCJ a little more than 20 years ago and has had a very successful tenure with the company. It was great to hear from Brenda. We wish her continued happiness in her marriage and work.

We would also like to congratulate Bob Blanchard, who was named CEO of Hanlon-McKendry in November. Hanon McKendry/The Brand Consultants is a Midwest advertising, marketing and brand-consulting firm that works with both nonprofit and corporate clients. It has received national recognition for its cause-and issue-based campaigns for clients such as the Salvation Army, the National Arbor Day Foundation and the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum.

Please continue to send Mark and me updates. It was nice hearing from so many classmates over the last few months!

Best Regards, Karen K. Stevens
