Chris Harper welcomed first child, daughter Reese Rosann, on July 14. Everyone is happy and healthy! Chris is also actively developing his corporate wellness program through his company Apex Training & Wellness (atw360.com).

Ryan Ray was promoted to director of operations for Discover Student Loans. As a result, the Ryan family relocated to Salt Lake City last summer. In addition, Ryan welcomed his fifth child into the world, daughter Amelia Ryan Ray. She was born on his birthday, hence the middle name!

Dr. June M. McKoy was appointed director of geriatric oncology for the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University, in September. She will oversee cancer care for patients age 65 years and older in multiple settings, including in-patient, out-patient, and home. She will lead initiatives related to geriatric cancer research and will provide mentorship to oncology fellows in this area. Incident to her appointment as director, Dr. McKoy was appointed to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Senior Adult Panel. The NCCN is an alliance of 21 of the world's leading cancer centers working together to develop treatment guidelines for most cancers, and dedicated to research that improves the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of cancer care.

Michael Sepe and his wife Rachel are the proud parents of Scarlett Olivia, born March 31.

Catherine Cummings is now HR manager, Chicago at IMC financial markets, a proprietary trading firm based in Amsterdam.

Corey Epperly started a new job at Monster, where he will serve as regional vice president for the southeast.

Homa Ghaemi was promoted to principal and vice president of Klein and Hoffman, and elected to serve on their board of directors.

Ken Smith was promoted to group vice president of sales at United Stationers Supply Company.

Vivek Thakkar and his family are relocating back to Buffalo Grove, Ill., from Morristown, N.J. Vivek will continue to serve as senior director of sales at Motorola (soon to be Google!) on the Verizon account.
