Greetings, alumni. I'll begin by "welcoming back" one of our historically regular contributors, Coleman "No, I'm not the Grandpa" McDonough. He writes: "I have attached a photo of Adeola, Aiyana, Michael and myself at a beach house that we stay at on weekends. You can see in the background a recent tenant who was looking for waterfront views. It is common for abandoned vessels to break anchor and wash onto shore; in our case - not so lucky with washing on our beach.

"All is well here in Nigeria. It's very challenging on the business and security front these days! Not much else to report; I hope that all is well for our friends and families."

Thank you Coleman! This is an interesting version of a "Jungle Gym" for your kids!

Next and finally, Gene "Dr. Third Person" McMahon writes to say he enjoys his work as the president and CEO of St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Ill., where he has been for 18 months. He values the interaction of excellent physicians and nurses working to better the lives of their patients at his institution, and thinks living in the metropolitan Chicago are is great.

Next year, his oldest three daughters will be in college, while their two younger siblings enjoy the challenges of high school. It's hard to believe that 10 years have gone by since the conclusion of our educational experience at Kellogg, when those same children only had to worry about bedtime and Barney!

I love the cut and paste nature of your submissions, Gene. Much obliged!

A short list this time but punchy, eh? That's it for now. Keep those cards and letters coming!
