We're excited this spring as it was our 10-year reunion! We can't believe it but we enjoyed seeing all of you there. It was a great time of catching up and reminiscing.

At least one group of classmates got a head start on catching up and reminiscing in February. Carrying on a Kellogg tradition, a strong group of Kellogg alums celebrated 11 years of Kellogg Ski Trip to Snowbasin, Utah. They stayed at the Holmstrom house (Josh's parents) that they renovated for the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2002. Attendees were Jill and Josh Holmstrom, Lynn and John Thee, Tim Freeth '01 and Stephanie Blackburn Freeth, Julia and Neal Freeland, Chat (Rivera) and Amar Shah, Brigitte and Dan Nettesheim, David Fleck '03, and Shannon and Brooke Stabbert with baby Katherine.

Neal recaps part of the trip: "We got rained out on Saturday so went to the arcade and drove bumper cars. David was die-hard so he went to the mountain even though it was raining. He got skunked. At dinner that night we told stories about our top 11 memories over last 11 years. Funnily enough, not a single one was about skiing."

Marlisa Kopenski writes: "I joined Design Concepts, Inc. in Madison, Wis., as the director of business strategy. My new firm is a design strategy and innovation firm and has me competing directly against my pals Lisa Jackson (frogdesign) and Holly Kretschmar (IDEO). A little road show to the Bay Area in November included visits with Natalie Schaefer Jackson, Stephanie Levine Fong and Michele Lee, to whom I owe a big thanks for suggesting adding 'Business' to my title."

2011 was a busy and wonderful year for Ashley Martorana Finster. She updates: "In February, I took an amazing trip to the Serengeti, Zanzibar and South Africa. I got engaged to Craig Finster in the Serengeti. We got married Oct. 29 in Solvang, Calif., at a gorgeous winery." Kellogg grads in attendance were: Paola Alvarez, Katie Weaver, Teresa Lee, Michelle Suhrie, Ashley Martorana, Heidi Eggert, Janey Dean McWhorter, Vanessa Zielke, Sabrina Ayala, and Eddie Hayden '03. Other highlights for Ashley's year: a four-day backing trip in Mammoth Lakes ("Yes, my husband did drag me on that one."), the birth of a niece and nephew, and finally leaving her current position to spend some time figuring out what she really want to do. Craig and Ashley enjoyed seeing everyone at reunion!

Wayne Borduin, wife (Stacie) with five kids in tow took the road last year (nearly 4,000 miles) and toured the Southwest in a big old RV! Wayne is still enjoying Chevron (10 years) and was assigned as the general manager of finance for Chevron Latin America in Caracas, Venezuela. As Wayne so eloquently puts it, "Es tiempo de aprender espanol!" Any LAHIMA classmates able to help him out?

Alyson Gampel and husband Shawn have two wonderful daughters (ages 2 and 4) who are lucky to spend lots of time with their twin cousins (1). While Alyson commented that, "It seems like it is all about kids these days," she has a lot else on her plate, too. Professionally, Alyson still helps business students with their career development, managing the MBA career center at York University in Toronto, Canada. She also helps her husband with his social enterprise that is in the funding stage.

Kate Solomon writes, "Always into promoting my brand, babo botanicals (it is business school, after all). Just launched in Bed, Bath and Beyond and dermstore.com. I'm looking for a sales director or partner if anyone interested." Now, Kellogg network, it's time to support Kate's exciting business. Luckily, it is perfect for the baby set of which we have some new potential customers in our ranks:

Romy Newman shares: "My husband Bogdan Cosmaciuc and I had a baby boy named Zachary in September. He is keeping us very busy! I'm still working at The Wall Street Journal in NYC, and recently moved from a strategy role to VP, multimedia advertising sales with responsibility for our expanded lifestyle efforts - including WSJ Weekend, WSJ. Magazine and our daily Greater New York section. It's a very exciting time to be at the Journal."

Jim and Carly (Loveman) Lutz welcomed their third child, Colin Mitchell Lutz, on Dec. 4. In totally unrelated news, they also bought a Honda minivan for its superb handling and as Jim put it, "the sheer cool factor."

Congrats to all of you on these exciting updates!
