By the time you read this, the 25-year reunion has come and gone. I hope those who attended had a blast…and maybe, just maybe, next time those of you who didn't attend will be able to make it. In calling around to try and encourage classmates to attend, I had some great catch-up conversations.

I caught up with Angela Streater in Indianapolis where she runs marketing and sales for Future Systems Solutions (fssdev.com). FSS specializes in computer back-up solutions providing immediate recovery. FSS's flagship product Casper Secure is the only back-up solution specifically designed to work with encryption technologies. Angela and her husband Richard have three children Daniel (10), Michael (7) and Sarah (7). Yes, you read right … twins. So, needless to say Angela and Richard keep pretty busy. Angela loves Indianapolis and is doing everything in her power to help the city become the software hotbed of the Midwest.

Linda Gorens-Levey was named the 2012 Sacagawea Award Recipient by the Professional Dimensions organization. The award recipients are chosen for their significant career accomplishments, commitment to community, support for the advancement of women, and embodiment of the trail blazing spirit of Sacagawea. Linda is the managing director of Stark Investments.

I also spoke with Lisa Giroux. Her kids are 'half' in college now -- one in and one still in high school. Her oldest started at Cornell last fall. She had recently gotten together in New York with Tammy and Arthur Fleischmann. Arthur was making preparations to kick off the book he's been working on with his daughter, Carly's Voice, to coincide with International Autism Awareness Month in March. They had a great time and I'm hoping to meet them all back in New York some time later this summer for a mini-reunion. Let me know if you're interested in joining.

Lee Wright wrote in…and I am grateful as always…with some New England news….

"I was in NYC a few weeks ago and spent some time with Victor Martinez and his family. They've moved to New York for a year or two for his wife's work. I also saw Steve Lefkowitz. He's doing great. He's very involved in the business community. From what I can tell, he and his firm have probably owned at one time or another at least one company that has touched every one of us, and that's saying a lot since they don't do CPG, quick service or consumer technology companies. And he's working on some very worthy causes. Over the last couple of years, I've seen Gloria Cox a couple of times a year, meeting her at Brown when she visits her son there. She's a principal at The Cambridge Group, which was acquired by Nielsen a couple of years ago. Here in the Boston area, I've seen Lorri Veidenheimer, who is working with some local startups on all aspects of marketing and go-to-market plans. Blair Trippe has been working for many years in the area of family business consulting and elder decisions. She co-authored the book, Mom Always Liked You Best: A Guide for Resolving Family Feuds, Inheritance Battles, and Eldercare Decisions.

"Closer to home, I'm working on two startups in addition to ongoing consulting. One is focused on developer program managers and evangelists (Developer Think Tank), and the other, The History List, connects people to interesting history-related events, whether they're looking for something interesting to do with their family on a Saturday or are planning a summer vacation trip across the country. Ultimately, if we succeed, we'll help people discover the fascinating, compelling history that's all around them."

Lynnda Davis sent me a lovely note about her family with a beautiful photo. From Lynnda: "My husband, three daughters and myself currently live in Columbus, Ohio, where he is a prominent CEO and my daughters and I are very active in the community. An Ohio based publication called The Women's Book featured me (along with several other successful women) on the cover of its recent 2011-2012 issue called "Confidence." Inside the book, they wrote a wonderful article about my daughters and me. The article discusses our community involvement and how I have been a role model for my daughters and for the community in this area. Of course, I would not have been as effective or sought after for some of the community boards or projects if it had not been for my Kellogg education. I am forever grateful."

Thank you Lynnda and Lee for your contributions, and please everyone, keep writing. You might think in this world of Facebook that no one cares any more about class notes and school magazines, but nothing could be further from the truth. So send me some news! 'Til next time.
