What is Bloomberg and what can it do for me? This class is organized as an introductory step-by-step walk-through of the Bloomberg terminal. The walk-through will focus on analyzing data in the public equities market, but will also provide you with an overview of the wide scope of information and built-in financial tools available via Bloomberg. The end goal of the class is to teach you how to conduct your own Bloomberg searches for data in a variety of domestic and international financial markets (equities, currencies, commodities, fixed income and more). If your future job involves dealing with time-senstive securities and asset prices, there is a good chance you'll be using Bloomberg.

Bloomberg is available in the Jacobs Computer Lab on the instructor PCs and on the computers in the back row. Bloomberg classes are demo-only. To reserve the lab, please contact the KIS Departmental Assistant.
