Checking on Retrospect Backup Client

Please use this webpage to determine the last time you were backed up.

1. Got to Start-->Programs and click on Retrospect Client.

(Note: In Windows XP Retrospect may be under "All Programs" found right above the Start Menu as seen below)

2. After selecting Retrospect from the Start Menu a window similar to the following will appear:

3. 1) Under Status it should say Ready.

2) Under History it will give a date and a drive letter.

3)Use the arrows on the right side to scroll up to see previous times your machine was backup or when other drives on your machine were backed up.

A note about Execution Errors: Exection errors are normal. They are a result of files that are being worked on while your machine is being backed up. If you feel that you have an unusually high amount of execution errors please contact the Retrospect support email address listed below.

4. If you notice any problems, have any questions or concerns with your Retrospect Backup Client please enter a call in the online Service Request System found at https://www3.kellogg.northwestern.edu/scripts/fac_staff_service/service_request.plx.
