Located in Room 163 of the Jacobs
Center on the Evanston
campus, the Student Technical Support Center (TSC) provides Kellogg
students with in-person and phone support for the Kellogg Laptop Program
and general questions.

Jacobs Computer Lab
The Jacobs Computer Lab is located on the Evanston
Campus in Room 2222 of the Jacobs
Center. The Jacobs Computer Lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week via Marlok access.
Equipment
- 26 Dell Optiplex SX280 workstations running Windows XP Professional. Each workstation has:
- Hardware
- Pentium 4 520 (2.8 GHz) Processor
- 2 GB RAM
- DVD+R/RW (DVD burner) drive
- 17-inch UltraSharp LCD flat screen monitors
- Software
- A list of software installed on Kellogg's public computers is available here.
- 4 laser printers
- 2 black & white laser printers (queue name "JacobsLab")
- 2 color laser printers (queue name "JacobsColor")

Hallway Computers & Printers
In addition to our public computer labs, Kellogg also provides public computers and printers in the ground floor hallways of the Jacobs Center.

The McManus Computer Lab is located on the first floor of
the McManus
Living/Learning Center, 1725 Orrington Avenue in Evanston. It is open
24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Chicago Campus Lab is located in Wieboldt
Hall, 339 E. Chicago Avenue, on the second floor, within Schaffner

KIS maintains more than 20 network printers at the Jacobs

Ethernet Jacks & Power Outlets for Laptop
Users Ethernet jacks and power outlets are available
in the Jacobs Center atrium, study rooms, and student lounge for laptop
users to gain easy network access.

Kellogg Classroom Resources Most
Kellogg classrooms have power and data connections at each seat. All classrooms
have video projectors, laptop connections, and wireless microphones (by
request).

Study Group Rooms (SGR)
There are 19 SGRs on the second floor of the Jacobs Center that have
40" flat panels and 20 SGRs on the first and ground floors that have 21" monitors. These displays can be connected to laptops to use for group study work. Additionally, all second floor study group rooms in the Jacobs Center have a speaker phones.
Ethernet jacks and power outlets are also available in each of the rooms for easy networking of laptops. These connections are wired through the tables in the second floor study group rooms Wireless is availble throughout the Jacobs Center.
