KelloggConnect

Students, faculty, and staff who purchased the Kellogg Laptop Program computer can use KelloggConnect to access network printers. All of the student network printers, such as those in Jacobs 157, 2218, and the Jacobs Center and McManus computer labs, have been pre-installed on your laptop--just launch KelloggConnect to login to the print server before printing.

If you do not have a Kellogg Laptop, see below for instructions on how to map printers.

To launch KelloggConnect, select it from the Start menu, or click the KelloggConnect icon in the quick launch tray, just to the right of the Start button, as illustrated at right.

Enter your password, when prompted, and KelloggConnect will map the network drives for you. If successful, you should see the screen at right.

The printers folder will be mapped to the P: drive. You need to have the P: drive mapped in order to print to network printers.

That's all there is to it! If you wish to map additional network printers, see below for instructions.

For information on the location and type of printer associated with the various print queues, see our Kellogg Network Printers directory.

Setting a default printer

To set a default printer, select the Printers and Faxes Control Panel from the Start menu. Right-click on the printer you wish to set as your default printer and choose Set as default printer.
