Overview
This document will lead you through the process of creating a new Mail Profile in Outlook 2007 and configuring it to connect to your Kellogg Exchange Account.
If you have already configured Outlook to connect to your Kellogg Exchange Account using the document “Configuring Outlook 2003 for Exchange” prior to upgrading Microsoft Office, you do not need to follow these steps.
Creating a new mail profile and configuring your Exchange account
1. Go to the Start Menu, select Control Panel, then Mail.
If you do not see a Mail icon, click the link on the left-hand side of the window to Switch to Classic View.
2. Click on Show Profiles. |

3. Click Add... to create a new Outlook Mail Profile. Name the new profile Kellogg and click OK.

4. The Add New E-mail Account window will open. Enter your name, Kellogg email address, and current NetID password.
Click Next. |

5. Outlook will now search for your Kellogg Exchange account before prompting you to log in. |

6. You will now be prompted to log in.
In the User name field, enter Kellogg\<NetID>, where <NetID> is your NetID.
In the password field, enter your NetID password.
Click OK. |

7. Once Outlook has located your account, you should see a screen similar to the one shown here.
Click Finish.

8. Now you need to set your default Mail Profile. Select Always use this profile and make sure Kellogg is highlighted.
Click OK.
Congratulations! Configuration is now complete. Please open Outlook to log in to your Kellogg Exchange Email Account. |
