Removing Palm Conduits

Removing the Meeting Maker Conduit

You should always backup your Palm data before making major configuration changes to your Palm setup. Once you have backed up your data:

Click the Start button, select Control Panel. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs control panel.

Select meetingmaker and click the Change/Remove button.

Select Remove only meeting maker conduits for palm devices and click Next.

Select meetingmaker Datebook conduit and click Next.

Click Finish to complete the removal of the Meeting Maker conduit.

Removing the Outlook Conduits

If you are currently syncing with Outlook, but wish to switch to Palm Desktop or Meeting Maker, you will need to uninstall the Outlook conduits first. Back-up your Palm data before proceeding. Once you've backed up your data:

Go to the Control Panel (Start->Control Panel in Windows XP; Start->Settings->Control Panel in Windows 98) and double-click Add/Remove Programs control panel.

Select PocketMirror and click Change/Remove (Add/Remove in Windows 98).

If you get an error, try looking in the Start menu for a folder named PocketMirror. In that folder, you should find an Uninstall PocketMirror option.

Once PocketMirror has been uninstalled, try syncing your Palm. If you're still syncing with Outlook, or have other difficulties syncing to Palm Desktop, you will need to re-install the Palm Desktop software. See here for instructions.

Disabling the Kellogg Calendar Conduit

Right-click on the HotSync icon () in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Select Custom.

Double-click KGSMConduit.

Select Disable KGSMConduit.

Your Palm will no longer sync with the Kellogg Calendar.
