Over-All Chair: Andrea Hanson

Andrea Hanson Andrea Hanson is a member of Kellogg’s Social Impact Board and Global Health Initiative Steering Committee. In her first year at Kellogg she wrote a paper on developing and introducing HIV/AIDS diagnostic devices in resource limited settings based on a class and field research in East Africa. During the summer, she will be working for Becton Dickinson as a strategy intern in their Global Health group. As a management Consultant prior to Kellogg, Andrea worked on strategic and operational projects across several industries in many countries. The projects that interested her the most were those in the non-profit, international development, and global health sectors.

Sponsorship Chair: Erin Metzger

Erin Before coming to Kellogg, Erin developed and executed the events marketing plan for Microsoft's Advertiser and Publisher Solutions Group. On the side, she was a wish granter for the Make A Wish Foundation, and a volunteer for the Hèrè jè Cooperative Center, a social enterprise that teaches income generating skills in fabric and jewelry production to members in Mali, West Africa. Erin is very interested in how to effect social change through for-profit ventures, especially microfinance and bottom of the pyramid business models. As a 1Y, Erin will be focusing her time at Kellogg on the intersection of business and social benefits.

Finance Chair: Andrew Choquette

Andrew Choquette Prior to Kellogg, Andrew first worked as an analyst in the Restructuring Advisory Services Group at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance where he consulted companies in connection with bankruptcies and restructurings. He then worked on an USAID emergency drinking water project in Kabul, Afghanistan where he conducted training for local engineers and managed community forums related to the project. Andrew then joined Credit Agricole Asset Management as an investment analyst covering long/short equity and event driven hedge fund strategies for the French bank's fund of hedge fund business. Andrew is a Co-Chair of the Emerging Markets Club and the International Development Chair of the Social Impact Club at Kellogg. Andrew is interested in international development and interned at Dalberg Global Development Advisors this past summer.

Logistics Chair: Emily Bush

Emily Bush Prior to Kellogg, Emily worked as a portfolio management analyst in Bank of America’s Global Corporate and Investment Banking Group, followed by a stint in rural Nepal where she volunteered and taught English and hygiene in an elementary school. Upon returning to the US, she joined a growing Bay Area telecommunications research company as an Account Manager. Now at Kellogg, Emily is the Social Entrepreneurship Chair of the Social Impact Club as well as the Project Director for Kellogg Corps. She is interested in ‘compassionate capitalism’ and will be interning with McKinsey & Company in Chicago.

Marketing Chair: Sharon Wolfson

Sharon Wolfson Prior to Kellogg, Sharon worked in Business Development at Genzyme. Her interest in strengthening communities led her to start a non-profit organization that focused on economic development in Boston. She is currently studying how environmentally sustainable business practices and operations can be profitable and a source of competitive advantage to a companies. Over the summer, she worked with the Chicago Community Loan Fund, a community development financial institution, to improve their operations and align their offerings with client needs.

Speakers Chair: Sarah Gillis

Sarah Gillis Prior to Kellogg, Sarah first worked as an analyst with Pacific Growth Equities, a boutique investment bank focused on emerging growth technology and life sciences companies. Her work with Pacific Growth sparked an interest in the business development process, and Sarah moved to South America to gain hands-on experience with entrepreneurs in an emerging market setting. Sarah spent two years in Quito, Ecuador and worked for an international development organization on projects related to microfinance and small business development. Now at Kellogg, Sarah is the Careers Co-Chair of the Social Impact Club as well as the Marketing and Fundraising Chair for Kellogg Corps. Sarah is interested in social entrepreneurship and interned with Monitor Group this past summer.

1Y Chair: RUTH DENSBORN

Ruth Densborn Before Kellogg, Ruth worked in management consulting as an Associate for Booz & Company in Germany. Her interest in Corporate Social Responsibility arose during her undergraduate studies when she was working for one of the largest international student organizations focused on international exchange and corporate responsibility and sustainability. Prior to her work in consulting she volunteered with a non-profit organization in Ecuador devoted to empowering at-risk children to overcome poverty. She performed street outreach work and supported different educational programs. At Kellogg, Ruth is majoring in Management and Strategy, Finance and Social Enterprise.
