More than two decades
ago, the Kellogg School revolutionized business education
when it introduced its team concept – a model that has
been duplicated in business schools worldwide. The school
is renowned for producing well-rounded graduates who are excellent
team players. Kellogg aims to enhance the student’s
team skills to become exceptional team and organizational
leaders.
Projects
for this initiative include:
- Self
Assessment Evaluation Test will be administered
to all incoming first year students and will allow them
to benchmark and trace their improvement in 36 leadership
traits during their time at Kellogg.
- Workshops
will allow students to develop leadership skills in accordance
with their self assessment results.
- Student-Run
Conferences allow students to put their leadership
skills to use by organizing and running a high profile conference
featuring business leaders and alumni.
- Quarterly
forums bring current business and political topics
to the forefront giving students a chance to step back and
think through the implications of world events on business.
These
projects will help Kellogg harness the energy of students,
faculty and staff for the greater benefit of the school. This
model is designed to transfer classroom/study group experiences
to peer leadership in the workplace. |
