Mr. David J. FitzPatrick (KSM '77)
Former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Tyco International Ltd.
David J. FitzPatrick was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Tyco International Ltd. He retired from Tyco at the end of 2005. FitzPatrick joined Tyco in September 2002, after serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of United Technologies Corporation since June 1998. Prior to Mr. FitzPatrick's career at United Technologies, he served as the Controller and Vice President of Eastman Kodak Company since 1995.
Before joining Kodak, Mr. FitzPatrick held a number of senior financial executive in an 18-year career at General Motors Corporation, including Chief Financial Officer for GM's Cadillac Luxur Car Division. He was also Chief Accounting Officer of GM and group Vice President of Finance and Administration of GMAC, the financial services arm of GM. In this capacity, he served on the Board of Directors of both GMAC and GMAC Mortgage.
FitzPatrick graudated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois in1976with a B.S. in Accountancy. He earned a Master's in Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 1977.
