Brian W. Rogers

I am a (junior) Associate Professor in MEDS at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

My research interests are in microeconomic theory, in particular the fields of network formation, social learning, and applied game theory. Some of my research employs laboratory experiments to test modeling assumptions, and suggest directions for improving theories. I am also interested in developing and applying statistical game theoretic models, which are theoretically interesting and often useful for describing and interpreting experimental data. My current work explores the implications of symmetries between players in repeated games, and the extent to which cooperation can be sustained in anonymous environments with turnover.
