Vontrese Pamphile is a doctoral candidate at Northwestern University. Her dissertation employs in-depth interviews, ethnography, and statistical analysis to explain how companies decide where to donate philanthropic funds and the subsequent reputational consequences. Her other work on organizational change has been published in Social Networks and Urban Education. Vontrese has experience in nonprofit leadership and taught classes on negotiations, leadership, social enterprise models, and sociology.
