Simona Giorgi is a PhD candidate in the Department of Management and Organizations. Her research focuses on how organizational actors use cultural competence to affect favorable institutional change. She explores cultural processes of influence in a wide range of settings, from the automobile industry to environmental non-profit organizations, securities analysts, and food movements. Simona is a member of the Academy of Management, the American Sociological Association, and the Strategic Management Society.
