Daniel Diermeier is the director of the Center for Business, Government, and Society.  The center is dedicated to the rigorous analysis of the role of business in its interaction with the social and political environment.  Its research mission is the study of political behavior and institutions and its relation to business practice.  Its teaching mission is to create teaching materials that help managers assess and manage political and social risks and opportunities.
