  Leigh Thompson is a member of the editorial boards of Organization Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, International Journal of Conflict Management, and Group Decision and Negotiation. She has served on the selection panel of the Decision, Risk, and Management Program at the National Science Foundation and its program review committee. She was named a fellow of the American Psychological Society and is a member of the Academy of Management, American Psychological Association, Judgment and Decision Making Society, and Society for Experimental Social Psychologists.

Representative Publications
  Leigh Thompson is the author or co-author of over 95 research articles and chapters in edited books. Her book, The Mind and Heart of the Negotiator (Third Edition) (Prentice Hall, 2005), integrates negotiation and group decision making with social psychological processes. Her book, Making the Team: A Guide for Managers (Prentice Hall, 2004) examines internal team dynamics and how to structure teams within the larger organization.
