The Women's Impact Series provides the opportunity for professional women to come together and delve deeply into specific areas of interest. The topic of the 2008 session of the Impact Series is Branding Yourself: Leveraging Marketing Tools to Develop a Personal Positioning Strategy.

In this program, Professor Christie Nordhielm introduces The Big Picture, an integrated framework that enables managers to develop a clear strategic plan for marketing their products and services. She also demonstrates how this simple and intuitive framework can be applied to marketing yourself and creating your own brand. Using the framework, Professor Nordhielm will help you identify your key competencies and objectives, your marketing objective, and finally your personal segmentation, targeting and positioning strategy.

The final product--a personal Big Picture--will serve as a planning document and strategic guide, allowing you to develop personal brand equity and reap significant rewards.
