The January North American Program is also an alternate-weekend program serving long-distance students, as well as local students who travel frequently for work.

Participants travel to Evanston Friday morning, classes are held Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. Accommodations are provided at the Allen Center on Friday nights, with an option to stay Saturday night. Tutorials and study group meetings take place during the weekend.

Students manage three courses per quarter for a total of six quarters over two years. The program begins in January and ends two yeas later in December. Students attend a weeklong Live-In session in January and June of each year. This program breaks for summer in both years.
