Careers

Kellogg has been a wonderful experience and has already made a profound impact on my career.

While most students in the Kellogg EMBA program are mid-career executives preparing for the next level of management within their sponsoring firm or senior executives wishing to enhance management and leadership skills, many will benefit from the Career Management Center services and support available to them as students and later on as alumni.   Our mission is to provide all students and alumni with the resources and skills to pursue their career goals at all stages of their careers. Services and resources available to Kellogg EMBA students include:

Career Coaching
Individual career coaching on career advancement is available and unlimited to all students. Sponsored students are eligible for coaching in the areas of self-assessment and internal career management. Self-sponsored students and students who have the approval of their employer are also eligible for coaching on a full range of topics to include job search strategies and tactics, resume and cover letter writing, networking, interviewing skills, and evaluating employment offers. Coaching is provided in person, over the telephone, or via email.

Self-Assessment
An online self-assessment tool is offered at no cost to all EMBA students, and a Career Coach is available to discuss individual self-assessment results.

Career Management Workshops
A selected number of career management workshops on topics of general interest to all students are scheduled as part of the EMBA program during the academic year; optional workshops tailored to specific needs of smaller constituencies are offered on an ongoing basis.

Job Postings
Kellogg proactively develops and maintains an active network of employers who routinely and at no cost to them post job opportunities on our internal website. EMBA students have immediate and no cost access to these job postings. Students are also encouraged as employers to post their firms' job opportunities on this site.

Access to Alumni Directory
All EMBA students have immediate access to the Kellogg Alumni Directory, a valuable resource of networking contacts for industry and company information.

Career Resource Center
An on-campus library of reference materials, resource books, reports, directories, and periodicals useful in conducting a job search is open and available to all students and alumni.
