For payroll purposes, you must complete E-Verify Sections 1 and 2 of the electronic I-9 form on or before Monday, September 23. Please refer to Stipend Payments and Payroll Process for further direction.  Please contact NU Payroll if you require any assistance.

August - Monday, September 23 For international students, upon your arrival on campus, register your passport with the International Office as soon as possible.   
 
August - Monday, September 23 Clear any registration holds you have (e.g., original transcripts to the Graduate School, register your passport with the International Office, Admission Health Record submission, etc.).

Monday, September 16 Kellogg's Orientation and PhD Tech Camp for entering doctoral students. Program begins with lunch at 12:30pm, Allen Center.

Wednesday,
September 18
The Graduate School's Orientation for entering doctoral students, Pick-Staiger and Norris Center, from 9:00 am -- 5:00 pm (lunch included and ending with "Happy Hour" reception at 5:00 pm).

Friday,
September 20
For international students, the International Office will host an orientation program. You must register to attend. More details on the program and registration process are available on the International Office’s Web site.

Friday, September 20- Monday, September 30

Registration for new graduate students.
Monday, September 23*

Kellogg PhD classes begin.
Tuesday, September 24* Northwestern “non-Kellogg” classes (Economics, Sociology, etc.) begin. 
   
*Northwestern and Kellogg classes start on different days each fall.
