Kellogg Healthcare Insurance Merger Lunch Panel 2017

Untitled Document

The Anthem-Cigna & Aetna-Humana Mergers: A Post Mortem
Earlier this year, two federal courts issued rulings blocking the mergers between Anthem and Cigna and between Aetna and Humana. This panel brings current and former Kellogg faculty together who all played important roles in these cases, both as testifying experts and behind-the-scenes analysts representing both sides of both mergers. The panelists will discuss the key economic issues in the cases and how the healthcare system might have evolved if the outcomes had gone differently. They will also consider what is next in store for the health insurance industry.
