  • The Anthem-Cigna & Aetna-Humana Mergers: A Post Mortem

    Earlier this year, two federal courts issued rulings blocking the mergers between Anthem and Cigna and between Aetna and Humana. This panel brings current and former Kellogg faculty together who all played important roles in these cases, both as testifying experts and behind-the-scenes analysts representing both sides of both mergers. The panelists will discuss the key economic issues in the cases and how the healthcare system might have evolved if the outcomes had gone differently. Healthcare at Kellogg Series - Fall 2017
This Fall Quarter, the Healthcare Club is  hosting a bootcamp, where our faculty provide an overview of the healthcare industry through a series of lectures. This is a great way to address some of the concerns reported by students who have an interest in healthcare as a potential career field but feel intimidated by the institutional knowledge of some of their classmates in this area.  The sessions will be held from 12:15pm-1:15pm on the dates below.

Visiting Executive Program- Fall/Spring
The Visiting Executive Program provides students an opportunity to connect with leading healthcare executives. HEMA facilitates meetings in the winter and spring quarters, and the mentor/mentee relationship continues in between at mutually agreeable intervals.

Biotech Case Competition - Winter, January 20, 2018

MacEachern Symposium – Spring
Each year, the HEMA program convenes a group of health care experts for the MacEachern Symposium. This 2/3-day program includes two keynote lectures, one by a leading academic and a second by a leading industry practitioner. The symposium features distinguished speakers and business leaders from around the nation to discuss the most pressing issues in the healthcare industry.
