The Kellogg School of Management is a premier business school with a focus on developing global leaders who have knowledge of and exposure to growing markets such as China. Through the Greater China Business Conference, Kellogg is offering a forum for business leaders with Chinese expertise to discuss developments in the Chinese economy and share knowledge between experts, students and professionals. We invite students, US professionals as well as Chinese companies seeking to deepen their presence in the US market to participate.
This year's conference theme is "China: Beyond the Great Wall" and focuses on the strategies Chinese companies are taking to expand their footprints outside the country. Ever since the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the country has begun to grow outside its strengths in manufacturing with plans to become an innovative player with deep expertise and world influence. Already, the country's achievement of becoming the world's 2nd largest economy ahead of Japan is a testament to the country's growth trajectory with some saying it could become the world's largest economy by 2030. The conference focuses on China's development now that it has become an established player, and how Chinese companies and the market will influence the global economy.
The 4th Kellogg Greater China Business Conference is one of a conference series that have charted China's growth and have made it relevant to the Kellogg MBA community as well as local business. Our previous supporters have included a variety of companies and organizations such as American Chamber of Commerce, Boston Consulting Group, FedEx and Emerson Electric.
We hope you enjoy the conference and find it an educational experience that grows your interest in China.
