Greetings from GCBC

Distinguished Guests,

We are delighted to welcome you to Kellogg’s 6th annual Greater China Business Conference (GCBC) — “China at the Crossroads”. With the rise of a new generation of political leaders, this year’s conference focuses on the critical decisions that China must make to address challenges in sustaining economic growth, maintaining political stability, and dealing with various social-economic issues. China is at a crossroads, and the outcome of these decisions will shape its future role in the global economy.

This year’s GCBC program features discussions with leading experts in academia, business, and government designed to generate thought-provoking dialogue and actionable insights on how to tackle uncertainties in China’s future development. Topics include understanding macro-economic trends in light of the country’s new leadership and changes in its pattern of development. In addition, the conference will cover strategic adjustments that both multinational corporations and domestic Chinese companies must make to address emerging trends. Finally, it will explore new perspectives for China-focused investors and entrepreneurs to consider.

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of all those who have made the conference possible. We owe many thanks to our generous sponsors who set the stage for the success of the conference. We are grateful to our special guest speakers, keynote speakers, panelists, and moderators who have taken the time to share with us their insights and to be with us today. We would also like to offer special thanks to the alumni and advisory board that provided invaluable support over the past year of conference preparation. Last but not least, we are grateful to Kellogg’s Corporate Partnerships and Student Affairs offices for their guidance.

We hope you enjoy the conference and find it to be an engaging journey that develops and enhances your interest in Greater China.

Best Regards,

SiSi Shen, Frank Lei Wang, Tony Ping Yu
