| NU team wins Regional 2008 Fed Challenge November 17, 2008 - All hail the conquering champions! Congratulations to the 2008 Northwestern University Fed Challenge Team for winning a fifth consecutive district regional, this year over rivals including University of Chicago, Notre Dame, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. The NU team will travel to Washington D.C. in November to represent the Midwest region at the National Championship. NU’s Fed Challenge Team has been national champions for three of the last four years. The five-member team consisted of CPU students Matthew Dabrowski, Alexandru Rus, and Atanas "Nasko" Stoyanov, along with NU students Chad Frontz and Joshua Goldstein. Research assistance was provided by CPU student Qiyun Cai along with Dharini Subramanian, Daniel Wolf, and Lucas Zalduendo. |
