Interview Reservations

Interview dates for both full-time and internship positions can be reserved through the Career Management System (CMS) for Employers. We schedule interview dates on a first-come, first-served basis using the computer-generated time of submission on your reservation request. Note: There is no need to submit employment information (job descriptions, etc.) while requesting interview dates. Click here for more information on submitting job descriptions.

Returning Users:

  • Your username and password for CMS from last season is still valid. If your CMS username is not recognized, please use the "Forgot Password" area on the CMS login page.
  • We suggest that you review the Guidelines for Reserving Interview Dates below before submitting requests.

First-time Users:

  • New to on-campus recruiting? Get started here
  • You will need a username and password to enter. At the CMS login page, click on Create an Account next to the 1st Time Users

Guidelines for Reserving Interview Dates

Open and Closed Interviews
You may not hold only Closed (invitational) interviews at Kellogg. Although you may have all Open (determined by a bidding process) or 50 percent Closed and 50 percent Open interviews, we require that no more than 80 percent of your interview slots be closed.

Full-time and Internship Dates
You may sign up for both full-time and summer internship dates. In filling out your Interview reservation requests, keep in mind that you will need to complete separate requests for full-time and internship positions. You may enter as many requests as needed.

Multiple Division/Functions
Complete one request form per job. For example, if you are recruiting full-time and internship hires for each of two different functions, you will need to complete 4 forms (one full-time function A, one full-time function B, one internship function A, and one internship function B). You may enter as many requests as you need.

Recruiter Availability
Please confirm your recruiter's interview-day availability before selecting dates. The recruiter will need to be at Kellogg from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

First-round Interviews on Two Consecutive Days
If you wish to hold interviews on consecutive days, please make a note of that in the Unavailable Dates/Comments box. You will then fill out the form to reflect what you would like on the first day and we’ll mirror your request for the following day.

Back-to-Back Interviews
If you would like your candidates to meet with two interviewers separately during their scheduled time, please click “yes” next to the Back-to-Back box on the reservation form. For Back-to-Back interviews:

  • There must be an even number of schedules requested as recruiters are paired in order to facilitate the back-to-back format. 
  • The number of schedules requested should be the same as the number of recruiters you will be sending. 
  • For 30-minute back-to-back interviews, please select 60-minutes as your interview length. 
  • For 45-minute back-to-back interviews, please select 90-minutes as your interview length.

Number of Interviews
Below are the numbers of interviews that make up one schedule for each different interview length. (Please make your reservations for the number of schedules you want, not the number of interviews.)

Coordinator Room

A coordinator room may only be requested by companies conducting 10 or more schedules on any given day. Due to our limited interviewing space, that extra room must be requested on your Interview Reservation Web form. (We strongly encourage companies planning 10 or more schedules to bring a coordinator.)

Next Available Date
If your requested interview date choices are not available, we will assign you the next available date. (We cannot accommodate every request in the first two weeks of recruiting.)  If there are dates or days of the week you cannot interview, please note them in the Unavailable Dates/Comments box.

Please Note:
Companies may book recruiting dates at Kellogg no less than three weeks prior to the bidding deadline for a particular bid period (see Calendar & Schedule). This is to give the students ample time to research your company and request a closed interview slot if desired.
