Overview

The 2005-2006 school year was another exciting time for our students as well as many of you, as we were fortunate to experience another increase in recruiting.

Student interests continued in a broad range of opportunities from consulting to the video game industry to traditional manufacturing and everything in between. The range of student interests the last year was reminiscent of 1999, but with much more realism and a bent on being socially responsible in both business and by giving back to the community. One student developed a business plan for a class project and has successfully raised over $50,000 to launch a social venture called the One Acre Fund. His organization is successfully running in Africa.

Once again, consulting took the largest percentage of the class of 2006. Thirty-three percent of our graduates went into the consulting industry. Other top industry recruiters came from financial services, high tech, consumer goods and health care.

As always, our graduates dispersed to various locations around the world. We saw 16% of our students take opportunities outside of the U.S. this year. The majority landed opportunities throughout the U.S.

We are pleased that our students continue to do so well upon graduation. We look forward to continuing our partnership with your organization this year and providing a positive experience for you and the students.

All of us in the Kellogg School’s Career Management Center thank you again for the support you have provided.
