Roxanne's Update

Dear Colleagues:

Now that the studen's have returned from spring break, I thought this would be a good time to advise you on some of our options for recruiting during Spring Quarter. . .

Resume Referral Program (RRP)
Beginning in April, and running throughout the spring and summer, the Resume Referral Program will match your job opportunity with our current student’s preferences (geography, industry, job function). We maintain a database of what type of position each student is seeking for both full-time and summer internships. We are able to search that database for a match and email you resumes based on your location, industry and the job function. RRP is a great option if you are on a tight timeframe and need to locate candidates quickly. Learn more

Kellogg Career Network (KCN)
Tap into Kellogg’s diverse talent base. The KCN is an online job board where you can reach the vast experience of our alumni base at any time during the year and post full-time or internship opportunities for the current batch of high caliber candidates from August through March. Posting is free and easy. Over 500 companies post jobs every month...don’t miss out. Learn more

Current Student Resume Database
The Kellogg Resume Book consists of a searchable online database. This candidate database is designed to help you easily access the resumes and profile data of current Kellogg students. Use the search tools to facilitate identification of students whose backgrounds best fit the requirements of the position you are seeking to fill. The database is updated daily – students who have informed the Career Management Center that they are no longer seeking employment are removed. If you would like to order the current student resume database, please contact Maggie Perrino.

Alumni Resume Database
This database of 800+ candidates enables you to identify and recruit experienced Kellogg talent in one centralized location. Employers can search for candidates by geography, function, industry, language skills, key words, etc.  Easily find candidates who match your search criteria, review their resumes online, and contact the best candidates. New resumes and profiles are posted every day, putting you in touch with more of our outstanding alumni. Pricing / Order the Alumni Resume Database

And for next season. . .
Although it may seem incredible given that many of you are still finalizing your hires for this year, we have established the Booking Dates for reserving interview and event dates during the 2008-2009 school year. Reservations for interview dates will begin at 11:00 am CDT on May 13, 2008. Reservations for presentations, career forums and networking nights will begin at 11:00 am CDT on June 3, 2008.

Thank you for all of your continued support and please feel free to contact our office at any time for assistance.

Ask the CMC

I would like to make an offer to a Kellogg student. How do I find salary/bonus information to help formulate a competitive offer?

You can start by looking at the salary information for the previous year's class. The low, high, mean and median salaries are available by function, industry and location. Also, our career counselors may be able to assist with anecdotal information from this year's class. Please contact the CMC office at 847-491-3168 for offer-building assistance from a counselor.
