Submit Job Description
The purpose of the job description detail is to give students the most complete yet concise information about the opportunities available at your company. The correctly completed job description detail is the most important resource our students have to plan their recruitment strategy for the year.
Please enter your information by:
- August 1 for full-time on-campus interview schedules.
- October 1 for intern on-campus interview schedules.

Note: You will not be able to complete the job description information until you have a confirmed interview date.
Note: On the CMS entry form, the items in red text are required and black text items are optional.
To get to the job description detail entry page:
- Click the link below to enter the CMS.
- Enter your username and password and e-mail address (if requested).
- From your home page in the CMS, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “on-campus recruiting” box.
- Click “job detail” for the job for which you wish to enter information. You will see the partial information that is currently entered for your job.
- Click the “edit job detail” link at the top of the page. (Please note: if you do not see this link at the top of the job detail page, please try the steps at the end of this page.)
Entering Your Job Description Details:
You will be asked to enter the following information for each position:
- Resume submission deadline: The default/earliest due date for students to submit their closed requests to you is listed. You may change this date if you wish (but the date may not be later than your closed-list due date).
- For the following areas, you may pick all that apply for this job: job regions, job state, job country, job functions. To select more than one option, hold down the “control” or ”command” key while clicking. Please pick as many as is appropriate for the position.
- Interview attire: Select the type of attire for the students to wear to the interview.
- Work authorization: Pick the choice that best fits this job. If more explanation is necessary, please add it in the “job description” area.
- Allow students without permanent U.S. work authorization to … These check boxes will tell the system whether to allow non-U.S. work-authorized students to either apply for or bid on your schedules.
- Bid for the Open schedules:
To allow any Kellogg student to bid for an Open interview slot for this position, click “yes.”
If your company cannot consider students without permanent U.S. work authorization, click “no.”
- Apply for the Closed schedules:
To allow any Kellogg student to apply for a Closed interview slot for this position, click “yes.”
If your company cannot consider students without permanent U.S. work authorization, click “no.”
- Language requirements: Enter language requirements for this position, if any.
- Job description: Enter the job description for this position. We recommend that you limit your job description to 250 words or less.
- Qualifications: Enter the qualifications for the position.
Click “save” at the bottom of the form to complete. (Note: clicking “cancel” at the bottom of this page does not cancel your interviews — it just takes you back to the job details page without saving any of the changes to the “edit job” page.)
If the “edit job detail” link does not appear on your “job detail” page:
Deleting your cookies usually solves this problem.

- Click “delete cookies,” then “OK.”
- Close your browser.
- Re-enter the employer Web system and follow the instructions above.
