CONNECTING WITH STUDENTS
Our goal is to help you connect with students in the most efficient and effective manner. If you would like to hear more about any of the recruiting options below, please contact our office and ask for your Industry Relationship Manager.
On-Campus Recruiting
Many companies choose to come to Kellogg to interview groups of students in one session. On-campus recruiting for full-time (second-year students) opportunities occurs for five weeks in the fall. On-campus recruiting for internships (first-year students) also runs five weeks and begins in January. Reservations for on-campus recruiting may be made through the Career Management System.
CMC Scheduled Events
There are many ways to promote your company at the Kellogg School. The Career Management Center hosts formal events and student clubs host guest speakers.
- Corporate presentations: Company-specific events that will help acquaint students with each firm, its culture and its job opportunities.
- Kellogg Networking Nights: Industry-focused networking events with representatives of up to 15 companies in attendance
- Atrium hours: Opportunity for company representatives to meet informally with students in the Levy Atrium.
Educational events
The CMC sponsors several educational events throughout the year that benefit from company participation. Examples of these opportunities include:
- Career panels — which are function-specific and include alumni and corporate involvement — are generally held early in the fall quarter. Panels give your company a chance to expose students to the career options your company has to offer.
- Resumanias are one-on-one student resume reviews, held in October, that allow students to get an industry expert’s opinion on their résumés.
Resume Database for Current Kellogg Students
The Kellogg current-student resume database is available to help you identify students whose backgrounds best fit the requirements of the position you are seeking to fill. The resume database becomes available in late August for second-year students and in November for first-year students.
Recruiters can find, e-mail and keep notes on candidates through the database, which makes it an ideal pre-screening tool for use in preparing invitation lists for closed interviews. Some companies also use the database when they would like to target students directly for specific openings
