Dean
Emeritus Jacobs commends longtime Kellogg friend Jim Oates
at the 2001 Alumni Awards. |
As students,
Kellogg graduates had a tremendous influence that has helped
shape who we are and how we lead our lives today - the Kellogg
culture. The Kellogg culture mean many things to many of us.
It not only has an impact on how we interact with Kellogg
as alumni, but also how we contribute to our communities.
This desire to share our knowledge and skills beyond the workplace
and family may very well stem from many of the community and
philanthropic activities we were exposed to as students at
Kellogg. Volunteerism is an important part of our lives.
