Prospective Members Reception at the NYAC

KACNY was pleased to host an opportunity for Kellogg Alumni to participate in a Prospective Members' Reception at the New York Athletic Club held on Wednesday, October 29th. While there are were no preferential membership arrangements for Kellogg alumni, it was a great opportunity to become familiar with the benefits of this magnificent and historic club. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were served as well as a tour of the Club's facilities located at the corner of Central Park South and Seventh Avenue (180 Central Park South). Michael McMurphy (KSM '80) has been a member of the NYAC since 1992 and was available to answer any questions during the reception.

Delicious Chocolate Tasting

Kellogg Alumni Club of New York and the Medill Club of Greater New York invited local alumni to a Delicious Chocolate Tasting. Attendees spent an evening with friends on a journey into the exciting world of chocolate. They explored its fascinating origins and discovered it's many hidden aromas and tantalizing flavors. They cultivated their tongues by tasting chocolate made from cacao beans grown from different parts of the world, and then indulged in pairing fine chocolates with teas, coffees, and wines.The event was held at MarieBelle Fine Treats and Chocolates on Broome Street.

KACNY 2003 Golf Outing

KACNY held their 2003 Golf Outing on Saturday, October 11th at the well-regarded Clearview Golf Course in Queens, New York. This was a great opportunity to see old Kellogg friends and meet new ones. This was also a great opportunity for experienced and beginner golfers alike to enjoy a round of golf. Special thanks to Ray Woods ’97 and Arun Sharma ’99 for arranging this event.

Welcome New Alumni/All Alumni party with Ed Wilson

New York area alumni gathered at The Williams Club for the kickoff party of KACNY's 2003-2004 season of exciting services and programming. Ed Wilson, Associate Dean Emeritus and Kellogg Ambassador at Large joined us to commemorate this new relationship. Staff and members of the Williams Club’s Board of Governors were available to give tours or answer any questions from the attendees. KACNY's Board of Directors were also in attendance.
