Biotechnology Management BIOT
Offered by the Biotechnology Management Program

Students are required to take one foundations course and two additional electives. The foundations courses are:

    BIOT-911 Dynamics of the Biotechnology and Life Science Industry
    BIOT-915 Medical Innovations I
    BIOT-916 Medical Innovations II
    MGMT-463 Management of Technology (Must be an approved section; please see Biotechnology Management for more details.)
       
In addition to one foundation course, students must take any two electives from the following list:
    BIOT-911 Dynamics of the Biotechnology and Life Science Industry
    BIOT 913 Biotech Business Practicum
    BIOT 914 Biomedical Marketing
    BIOT-915 Medical Innovations I
    BIOT-916 Medical Innovations II
    BIOT 919 Biotech: Law, Business and Regulation
    FINC-932 Case Studies in Venture Investment and Management
    HIMT-453 Managerial Challenges in the Pharmaceutical,
Biotech, and Medical Device Industries
    INTL-473 Global Initiatives in Management (Must be an approved section; please see Biotechnology Management for more details.)
    MGMT-463 Management of Technology (Must be an approved section; please see Biotechnology Management for more details.)
    MKTG-463 Sales Force Management
    TECH-441 Intellectual Capital Management
       
In addition, students are also strongly encouraged to take at least one of the following zero credit activities:
    BIOT-910-A Science Boot Camp (offered in Fall Quarter)
      Biotech Leadership Bootcamp (offered in Winter Quarter)
      Biotech Seminar Series (offered Fall, Winter, Spring Quarters)
